An opportunity is available for a skilled CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Technician to support a progressive healthcare setting. This contract position requires expertise in perioperative nursing assisting, specifically focusing on cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment ensuring functionality and sterilization standards.
  • Assist surgeons and surgical staff during cardiovascular operations by anticipating procedural needs.
  • Monitor and maintain a sterile environment within the operating room.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and proper storage of surgical supplies and devices.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or similar nursing role within cardiovascular operating rooms.
  • Extensive knowledge of surgical instruments and cardiovascular procedures.
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques, infection control, and operating room protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certification or training in perioperative nursing/technician roles preferred.
