A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Operating Room Technicians with a focus on Orthopedic and Cardiovascular cases. This role is designed for professionals who excel in a fast-paced surgical environment and are ready to contribute their skills during night shifts. The position is located in the Bronx, NY, offering a unique chance to work in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room for orthopedic and cardiovascular procedures.
  • Assist surgical teams by handling instruments and equipment with precision.
  • Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and communication.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room Technician role.
  • Demonstrated expertise with orthopedic surgical cases.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
  • Proficient in using the Epic electronic medical records system.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.

Schedule:

  • Night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week, excluding a 1-hour break.
