A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Operating Room Technicians with a focus on Orthopedic and Cardiovascular cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for orthopedic and cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist surgical teams by handling instruments and equipment with precision.
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and communication.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room Technician role.
- Demonstrated expertise with orthopedic surgical cases.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
- Proficient in using the Epic electronic medical records system.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.
Schedule:
- Night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week, excluding a 1-hour break.
