Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere consistently to healthcare policies, procedures, and ethical standards within the operating room environment.
- Maintain all mandatory licensing, certifications, and regulatory training, updating documentation proactively.
- Deliver quality patient care by preparing necessary instruments, assisting with dressings or cast applications, and anticipating surgical needs per physician preference.
- Perform and document accurate instrument and sponge counts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Identify and resolve challenges independently to support department objectives and enhance patient care quality.
- Participate actively in departmental activities including working varied shifts, managing specialized tasks, and contributing suggestions to improve processes or cost-efficiency.
- Support educational efforts within the team.
