This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Surgical Technologist with extensive orthopedic experience seeking a 13-week contract in a dynamic Level 1 trauma environment. The role requires a professional with a strong background in orthopedic and total joint surgical procedures, ready to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Location: Cranston, Rhode Island

Schedule/Hours:

  • Two 12-hour shifts, Mid shifts from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
  • Call and weekend coverage as needed

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
  • Minimum of 5 years of surgical tech experience, with a focus on orthopedic surgery
  • Strong experience in total joint procedures
  • Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility essential
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in high-pressure surgical environments

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in orthopedic and trauma surgeries, ensuring sterile field maintenance and surgical instrument readiness
  • Collaborate with surgical team to facilitate smooth operative workflow
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance standards for surgical procedures
  • Support patient care from preoperative setup through postoperative cleanup

  • 13-week contract position
