This opportunity is for an experienced operating room professional with strong skills across various surgical specialties including Trauma (excluding burns), Neuro, General, Vascular (including Endovascular), ENT, Orthopedic spine and total joint experience, Gynecology, Urology, Robotics for both General and Neuro surgeries, Plastics, breasts, and ophthalmic procedures. Preference is given to candidates with experience using Robotic Mazor and DaVinci XI systems. While certification as a Surgical Tech or ORT is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Extensive operating room experience in multiple specialties as listed above
- Experience with robotic surgical systems (Mazor, DaVinci XI) preferred
- Basic knowledge and comfort with EMR systems, particularly Cerner
- Familiarity with IV pumps (Plum 360), medication dispensing systems (Omnicell), and patient monitors (Spacelabs)
- Ability to work collaboratively with OR support staff including OR aides, desk assistants, floor assistants, charge nurses, and team leaders

Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical assisting duties in a variety of complex procedures across the specialty areas mentioned
- Participate in a two-week day shift orientation, including buddy call support
- Collaborate effectively with the OR team and support personnel to ensure smooth operation of daily surgical cases
- Adhere to scheduled shifts including early mornings and evenings, with holiday and on-call requirements consisting of one day per week and one weekend per month on call
- Maintain required safety and sterile protocols in accordance with hospital standards
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift options: 0630-1700, 0630-1500, 1230-2300, 0630-1900
- Weekend rotation: on call schedule applies
- Holiday work expected as part of contract
- Time off managed by manager approval
- Scrubs provided (green)
