An opportunity is available for a skilled operating room professional with expertise in neuro and orthopedic procedures, including total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma. This contracted position offers a focused schedule and the chance to contribute in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Location: The role is based in Eden Prairie, MN, situated near Burnsville. Eden Prairie is known for its thriving community, excellent recreational opportunities, and proximity to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area, offering a high quality of life and easy access to urban amenities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with neuro and orthopedic surgeries including total joint and orthopedic trauma cases
- Utilize Epic and DaVinci systems in support of surgical procedures
- Support urology cases as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in neuro and orthopedic surgical settings
- Proven competence in total joint support and orthopedic trauma procedures
- Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at time of application
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to float to Same Day Surgery Centers in Burnsville, Shakopee, St. Louis Park, and Maple Grove as needed
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, typically 8-hour shifts
- 32-40 hours per week during regular weeks; 24-32 hours during holiday weeks
- No weekend, on-call, or holiday work required
