Certified Orthopedic Technician Needed – Glendale, CA
An outpatient orthopedic specialty center is seeking a Certified Orthopedic Technician with NBCOT certification to support their clinics in Tarzana and Mission Hills. This contract assignment offers a dynamic work environment focused on outpatient orthopedic care. The role requires a highly skilled professional who can provide excellent technical assistance and patient support in the orthopedic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide orthopedic technical support and assist clinicians during procedures
- Manage patient preparation and follow through with treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic charting system
- Float between two outpatient locations as required: primary base in Tarzana and additional coverage in Mission Hills
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active NBCOT certification is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic outpatient experience preferred
- Willingness to float between designated clinic sites
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
- First-time orthopedic technicians are welcome to apply
- Ability to work full 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday
