Essential Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Tech (CST)
• Proven experience in operating room technology or surgical technology within a healthcare setting
• Active nursing license or completion of an accredited ORT program
• Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and assisting in a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to protocols and surgeon preferences
• Assist surgeons and perioperative teams during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and documentation for each case
• Emphasize patient safety, infection control, and quality outcomes at every stage
• Support and collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members
