A skilled RN with ORT experience is needed for a contract role supporting same-day surgery centers in the Lakeville, MN area. This opportunity involves working primarily in orthopedic and neuro cases, including total joint support, trauma ortho, and urology procedures. Candidates must be able to navigate electronic health records such as Epic and Davinci to deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years recent perioperative nursing experience focused on neuro and orthopedic cases
  • Proficient in total joint surgeries, orthopedic trauma, and urology
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at time of submission
  • Current BLS certification
  • Flexibility to float to multiple same-day surgery locations in the region as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Support a range of same-day surgery centers in Burnsville, Shakopee, St. Louis Park, and Maple Grove
  • Maintain readiness to assist in various surgical areas as patient needs dictate

Schedule:

  • Day shift, 8-hour blocks
  • 32-40 hours per week during regular weeks; 24-32 hours during holiday weeks
  • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
