An experienced Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic and total joint experience is needed for a contract opportunity in Providence, RI. This role requires expertise in a fast-paced, level 1 trauma facility and offers a competitive assignment for a 13-week duration.

Location:

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years as a Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Proven strong orthopedic surgical experience, including total joint procedures
  • Experience working in a level 1 trauma hospital setting
  • Ability to handle fast-paced OR environments with precision and professionalism

Shift/Hours:

  • Two 12-hour shifts, mid shifts from 11 am to 11 pm
  • Call and weekend coverage as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and operating room staff during orthopedic and trauma surgeries
  • Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are ready and functioning properly
  • Respond efficiently to emergency surgery needs in a level 1 trauma setting
