An opportunity is available for a certified Orthopedic Technician at an outpatient orthopedic center in Westlake Village, CA. This 13-week contract position is suited for both experienced professionals and those new to the field, with an emphasis on NBCOT certification and outpatient experience. Candidates should be prepared for a standard day shift schedule and occasional floating to nearby clinic locations, though this is expected to be infrequent.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • NBCOT certification is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferred; first-time certified technicians are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience required
  • Ability and willingness to float to nearby clinics very rarely (locations include Tarzana and Mission Hills)
  • No weekend or on-call duties required
  • Must be a local candidate; state license must be current (pending licenses not accepted)

Location: Situated in the scenic area of Westlake Village, known for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant community, this outpatient facility offers a professional environment with easy access to nearby amenities and services. The location provides a balance of quality patient care in a comfortable and well-equipped setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized orthopedic technical support in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff using EPIC charting software
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and accurate documentation
  • Occasionally support operations at nearby clinics when requested

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (five 8-hour shifts)
