This opportunity is for an experienced registered nurse specializing in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role is based in Boston, MA, supporting adult patients in a busy cardiac cath lab environment. The position requires a strong background in interventional cardiac nursing as well as proficiency in scrub techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the cardiac cath and EP lab, including PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during cardiac procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC-Cupid charting system
  • Respond to patient needs efficiently while ensuring safety protocols
  • Participate in on-call rotation including 7 on-call nights and one full weekend per month

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts RN license required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cath/EP lab nursing with interventional cardiac and scrub expertise
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Experience with adult patient populations in a high-acuity cardiac setting
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred

Schedule:

  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • On-call nights as specified, including one weekend (Fri-Sun) per month
