This opportunity is for a skilled registered nurse with Cath Lab experience to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab setting. The role is based in Madison, Tennessee, supporting a well-established medical center with 109 beds. Work on a unit equipped with advanced technology including Philips Cath Lab systems, Merge Hemo software, and Meditech EMR to deliver precise, efficient cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as LHC, R/LHC, stent placements, peripheral angiography, and pacemaker implants.
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient status throughout procedures.
  • Utilize critical thinking to handle complex cases and ensure patient safety.
  • Document patient care using the Meditech electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborate with skilled unit staff including techs and secretaries to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current RN licensure.
  • Certified in ACLS and BLS.
  • Proven Cath Lab experience with moderate sedation proficiency.
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working with advanced cardiovascular imaging and procedural equipment.

Schedule:

  • Options between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts.

  • Dress code is navy blue scrubs (not provided).
