Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience working in a Cath Lab setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist physicians and technologists during interventions in the Cath Lab
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and treatments
- Educate patients and families about the procedures and post-care instructions
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards
