A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in the Cath Lab setting, offering a 13-week assignment in Warwick, RI. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting cardiologists during catheterization procedures
- Monitoring patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Preparing and maintaining catheterization laboratory equipment and supplies
- Providing patient education and support before, during, and after procedures
- Ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab
- Ability to handle critical situations with professionalism and calmness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
