CVOR Nurse - Bastrop, LA

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings. This contract role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac surgery environment. The assignment requires working in two CVOR rooms and one hybrid OR, collaborating closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Location: Bastrop, LA

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Preparing and managing the operating room and equipment before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitoring patient status and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Supporting hybrid OR procedures alongside traditional CVOR cases.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in CVOR nursing preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR environments.
• Ability to function efficiently within a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
