A registered nurse with specialized experience in cardiovascular operating rooms (CVOR) is needed for a contract assignment in Concord, NC. This role offers exposure to a high-volume surgical environment, covering a broad range of specialties including Orthopedics, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General Surgery, Robotics, and more. The assignment provides the opportunity to work with advanced technology and experienced surgical teams in a well-supported department.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN license with BLS certification.
  • Minimum of two years’ operating room experience, preferably in CVOR settings.
  • Proficient in circulating for diverse cases including CABG, TAVR, vascular, orthopedic, robotic, and general surgery procedures.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
  • Ability to work night call approximately 3-4 times per 6-week schedule and 1-2 weekend shifts on call.
  • Strong clinical skills and recent CVOR case experience necessary.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities:

  • 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week.
  • On-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform circulating duties in a 13-room OR suite with an average of 45 cases daily.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia providers, charge nurses, and OR assistants.
  • Participate in thorough orientation tailored to main OR and CVOR procedures.
