CVOR Registered Nurse - Fort Myers, Florida

An opportunity is available for an experienced RN with a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) background to provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment. This 13-week contract position offers 10-hour day shifts with flexible start times, including a required on-call component. The role demands a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to float to other related campuses within a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years CVOR experience
• Strong scrub and circulate skills in a CVOR setting required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications mandatory
• Experience working with Epic EMR system preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly desirable
• Willingness and ability to float to different facilities within a 50-mile radius
• Call availability as required

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Assist in advanced cardiac surgical procedures through skilled scrub and circulating techniques
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to maintain safety and efficiency
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic electronic medical record system
• Comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, including participation in on-call rotations
• Adapt to floating assignments across sister campuses as needed

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts with flexible start times
• One day off during the week
• On-call duties required
