CVOR Nurse - Naples, FL

A nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environments. This contract position offers the chance to utilize your specialized skills in a dynamic surgical setting, supporting critical procedures that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the CVOR, ensuring sterile field maintenance.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth and safe cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic.
• Respond to on-call requirements as part of the surgical team.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding patient safety and infection control.
• Flexible to float within a 50-mile radius to sister campuses when needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of experience in CVOR nursing.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating in cardiovascular operating rooms.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Experience working with Epic EMR system preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments within the designated radius.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts with flexible start times.
• One day off per week.
• On-call availability required.
