Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
  • Prepare the OR environment according to cardiovascular surgery standards and infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care when appropriate.

Desired Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with CVOR specialization or relevant experience in cardiovascular surgical nursing.
  • Proven ability to function efficiently in fast-paced, high-stakes surgical settings.
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
