CVOR Registered Nurse - West Monroe, Louisiana

An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity cardiac surgical team. This position involves working in two CVOR rooms and one hybrid operating room, assisting two surgeons in delivering top-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in CVOR and hybrid OR settings.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Document care accurately and comply with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Proven expertise in cardiac surgical procedures and hybrid OR environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting.

Schedule:

• 06:30 AM – 3:00 PM, providing consistent daytime hours.

This contract assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks, offering a structured environment with opportunities for further travel experience in specialized cardiac surgical nursing.
