Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment specific to cardiovascular operations
• Monitor patient vitals and intervene promptly during procedures as needed
• Maintain adherence to strict aseptic techniques and hospital protocols
• Document detailed and accurate patient records throughout the surgical process

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Current RN licensure with proven experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instrumentation, and intraoperative care
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining patient safety
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities in a surgical setting
