Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing for a contract position in Winston-Salem, NC. This opportunity offers a focused setting to apply specialized skills in perioperative cardiovascular care, supporting surgical teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
  • Shift timings: 1000 to 0525 and 1200 night before on-call (NBO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert cardiovascular surgical nursing care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams to manage patient conditions and respond to emergencies
  • Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Monitor patient status and document care accurately
  • Assist in preparing surgical equipment and the operating room

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
