Nursing RN Endoscopy in Spring, TX

A registered nurse with expertise in Endoscopy and GI Lab procedures is sought for a contract role in Spring, TX. This position supports a busy Diabetes and Endocrine Clinic managing a high volume of patients and a collaborative team of providers. The ideal candidate will bring ambulatory care experience and familiarity with electronic health records to provide comprehensive nursing care and support clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in an Endoscopy/GI Lab setting within a Diabetes and Endocrine Clinic
• Support 8-11 providers and 32 faculty members, along with 12 fellows, delivering care for 90-140 patients daily
• Perform insulin administration and manage hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia in the clinic environment
• Conduct patient education including basic insulin management and pulse checks
• Assist with back-of-the-house clinical tasks such as triage calls, prior authorizations, and lab result communications
• Manage symptom assessments and complete school forms and letters as needed
• Collaborate closely with nursing and medical assistant teams to ensure efficient clinic operations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active RN licensure with experience in Endoscopy and GI Lab nursing
• Ambulatory care experience preferred
• Knowledge of diabetes and endocrine patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health records, particularly EPIC, is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule / Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Flexible shifts available: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on a rotating 4-day workweek
