Travel Nursing RN Endoscopy - Waterbury, CT

A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Endoscopy and GI Lab experience to support a busy outpatient surgical center. This fast-paced facility features multiple operating rooms and procedure rooms, providing care in a variety of specialties. The role involves managing patient care throughout all stages of the Endoscopy experience, from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• Proven experience in Endoscopy nursing and GI Lab environments
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient surgical center

Schedule / Hours:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts only
• No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
