Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Bullhead City, AZ

Provide critical emergency care in a dynamic, state-of-the-art hospital setting serving Bullhead City and surrounding communities. This contract role is based in the Emergency Department of a 126,000 square foot facility with 16 beds dedicated to emergency care, offering a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The ED is staffed to provide urgent and trauma care around the clock, with a 1:4 patient ratio and advanced equipment such as cardiac monitors and bladder scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for emergent, urgent, and trauma patients including vent management, port access, IV/phlebotomy, cardiac drips, and moderate sedation
• Manage care for behavioral health patients with sensitivity and professionalism
• Collaborate effectively within a team-based environment while maintaining composure under pressure
• Utilize the Medhost EDIS electronic health record system to document patient care accurately and timely
• Uphold strict dress code standards requiring black scrubs and prohibiting open toe shoes or inappropriate attire

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least some exposure to Emergency Department or trauma care preferred
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Ability to care for critical and trauma patients, including moderate sedation and cardiac drip management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
