An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in emergency care to support a high-volume Emergency Department in Cambridge, MA. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise in handling diverse patient needs will be valued. Candidates should bring recent experience in Level I, II, or Level 3/4 Emergency Department settings and be prepared to work night shifts with the flexibility to float between Adult Psych ED and Pediatric ED (ages 15+).

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy Emergency Department with up to 120 treatment areas.
- Manage patient loads with ratios around 1:4-5 depending on acuity.
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, identifying heart blocks accurately.
- Float between emergency psychiatric, pediatric, and adult units as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1.5 years recent Level I or II ED experience or 2+ years recent Level 3/4 ED experience.
- Proven ability to independently manage telemetry readings and pass an 85%+ Telemetry Test on Day 1.
- Current active certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS.
- Preferred experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Previous travel nursing assignments and critical care experience highly desirable.
Schedule:
- 48-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), working 4x12-hour shifts per week.
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required.
