Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments upon arrival to the emergency department.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate emergency care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient conditions and care provided.
- Educate patients and families on post-ER care and follow-up instructions.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Proven experience in emergency room nursing.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
