Position Overview: In this Emergency Department nursing role, you’ll join an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, individualized patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, formulate care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for diverse patient populations.
- Promote relationship-centered care that respects cultural and individual differences.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams during bedside reporting, teaching, and planning.
- Document timely and accurately to uphold care standards and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor new nurses and students, supporting continued professional growth within the team.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and policy development.
- Ensure efficient and effective utilization of all resources aligned with clinical goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (obtainable within 180 days), PALS (obtainable within 180 days), and TNCC (within 18 months).
- Excellent communication skills and time management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emergency setting, demonstrating critical thinking and composure.
