Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergency medical conditions
- Perform rapid assessments and interventions in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and document patient care thoroughly
- Respond swiftly to emergency codes and support trauma care initiatives
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid credentials in California
- Proven Emergency Room nursing experience with proficiency in acute care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
