Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Mohave Valley, AZ

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients within a 16-bed Emergency Department
• Manage care for emergent, urgent, and trauma cases, including ventilator management and cardiac drip administration
• Perform IV access, phlebotomy, and moderate sedation procedures
• Provide care to behavioral health patients with professionalism and compassion
• Utilize Medhost EDIS for electronic health record documentation
• Collaborate effectively within a team to maintain a calm and efficient work environment
• Adhere to required dress code and safety protocols

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing
• Valid ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Proven skills in trauma care, ventilator management, port access, cardiac monitoring, and moderate sedation
• Experience with behavioral health patient care preferred
• Ability to work 36 guaranteed hours per week on scheduled shifts with occasional float
• Strong teamwork orientation and capacity to maintain composure under pressure

• Patient ratio approximately 1:4
• Equipment includes cardiac monitors and bladder scan devices
• Dress code: Black scrubs; no t-shirts, capris, or open-toed shoes permitted
