Provide critical care in a dynamic Emergency Room setting supporting patients of all ages with diverse medical needs. This travel nursing opportunity requires at least two years of ER experience and offers a schedule primarily consisting of 12-hour night shifts. The role involves working at a well-equipped facility renowned for its STEMI and stroke care programs, including specialized departments such as cath lab and women’s health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients, including those with cancer, sepsis, behavioral health challenges, and medical emergencies
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Apply skills in BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke scale, and PALS certifications during patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict scheduling and punctuality policies
- Complete Pass Fail EKG exam as required, demonstrating proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency responses
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with active licensure and minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience; first-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Experience working in STEMI and stroke-certified care facilities
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with occasional 3p-3a shifts as needed
