An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care to support a healthcare facility in Reno, NV. This contract position offers 12-hour day shifts with a schedule that includes weekends. Candidates with availability for a full schedule through late January into early February are highly preferred, with a start date beginning mid-January.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Respond efficiently in high-pressure situations, adapting to the fast-paced ER environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with Emergency Room nursing experience.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
  • Proof of immunizations for MMR and Varicella or documented declination.
  • Ability to work weekends and full shifts as scheduled.
  • Compliance with all pre-employment and ongoing requirements prior to and within two weeks of starting the assignment.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts
  • Weekend availability required
  • Preferred full-schedule commitment through the contract period of approximately 26 weeks
