An opportunity for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in neurocritical care is available in a dynamic ICU and stepdown unit located in Atlanta, GA. This contract position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment providing critical care to neurological patients, with responsibilities that may include floating between the Neuro ICU and IMCU based on patient needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid RN license with Nursys license verification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Neuro ICU nursing
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in neurological critical care
  • Comprehensive work history and resume with gaps not exceeding 60 days
  • Current certifications pertinent to critical care nursing
  • Availability of references and skills checklist
  • Professional presentation including a badge-appropriate photograph in profile

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Neuro ICU and stepdown units
  • Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation as required
  • Adapt to unit needs by flexible floating between ICU and stepdown settings
