Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Blue Springs, MO

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license with ICU experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Proven skills in advanced assessment and critical thinking
• Expertise in managing vasoactive drips and critical interventions
• Experience with central line or PICC line placements and chest tube insertions
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care in accord with unit standards, including bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and active participation in leadership rounds
• Utilizing Meditech for accurate documentation
• Adhering to scheduled rotations, including weekend and holiday shifts based on staffing status (FT, PT, PRN)
• Following floating policies when applicable, serving occasionally on the Telemetry Unit
• Maintaining professionalism and adhering to the designated dress code, fostering a unified and professional environment
