Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or MICU nursing experience
- Active RN license for Kentucky or a compact license eligible for practice in KY
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Experience using Meditech EMR system
- Ability to manage care confidently in a critical care environment with a 1:2 patient ratio
Responsibilities / Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for critically ill patients
- Monitor patient conditions closely, responding promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records through Meditech EMR
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards
