ICU RN - Boston, Massachusetts

This contract opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing in Boston, MA. The position requires a dedicated professional with at least two years of ICU experience, capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment during night shifts.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet clinical responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring with the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips.
• Valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Document patient care and clinical observations accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
