A registered nurse with ICU expertise is needed for a night shift opportunity in Clarksville, TN. This role involves critical care nursing in a fast-paced ICU environment, providing advanced patient assessments and managing complex cases involving ventilators, vasoactive drips, and neurological conditions. The schedule includes night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with an on-call component when staffing levels require.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN licensure in Tennessee or multistate license
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience, including ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and care for critical patients with neurological and cardiac conditions
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Previous travel nurse experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system and navy scrubs preferred
  • Ability to manage patient ratios of 2:1 in a 21-bed ICU unit

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • On-call as needed during staff shortages
  • Floating required across medical-surgical, step-down, and emergency departments
  • Block scheduling with no guaranteed hours or 48-hour minimums
  • No holiday requirement to return to work; maximum time off request total of 1 week
