Exceptional opportunity for experienced ICU Registered Nurses to contribute expertise in a Level I Trauma setting. This contract position is based in Jacksonville, TX, within a top-tier healthcare facility noted for its commitment to advanced patient care and professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a Trauma ICU environment with a 1:2 patient ratio.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex patient cases.
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate, timely documentation.
  • Float to ICU, Intermediate Care, and Telemetry units as needed to support patient care.
  • Maintain certifications and adhere to protocols for ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
  • Engage in day-shift rotations of three 12-hour shifts to provide consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of two years of ICU experience.
  • Previous exposure to trauma ICU nursing at a Level I Trauma center.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Epic charting software.
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS and TNCC highly desired.
  • Ability to adapt to floating between ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units seamlessly.
  • Willingness and experience to travel for assignments are essential.
