Intensive Care RN | Livingston, Montana

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide essential Home Health and Hospice care in a community-based setting. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment with a supportive team focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to home health and hospice patients in a community setting
• Manage caseloads effectively, seeing 4-7 patients per day depending on shift length
• Provide clinical assessments, medication administration, and wound care as needed
• Participate in on-call duties 2-4 weekday nights per week and 1-3 weekends during the contract
• Support Med/Surg floor inpatient care as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience in home health or a related field
• Hospice experience preferred; training available if needed
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) is a significant plus

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts (5x8)
• On-call nights and some weekend coverage are required
