Critical Care Nurse in Lowell, MA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Valid Massachusetts RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
• Basic computer proficiency
• Telemetry experience required, with the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Pass Tele test on day 1

Schedule:

• 12-hour PM shifts
• 36 hours per week, primarily nights
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret telemetry cardiac rhythms accurately and swiftly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient status and care accurately in electronic health records
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies in the unit
