Intensive Care RN | Ontario, California

A healthcare facility in Ontario, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience for a contract position. This role requires delivering safe, high-quality patient care by utilizing thorough assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in critical care units, ensuring adherence to nursing standards
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition changes, diagnostic results, and treatments
• Oversee patient and family education alongside guiding other nursing staff activities
• Respond promptly and accurately to alterations in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain strict patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience in critical care
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
• Availability to work weekends is mandatory
