An opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse with critical care experience to provide comprehensive patient care within a dynamic hospital setting. This position operates primarily on the night shift, serving a variety of inpatient areas including ICU, Stepdown, and Medical/Surgical units. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple departments, ensuring high-quality care with a nurse-to-patient ratio ranging from 1:4 to 1:6.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care and monitor patient conditions in ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Adhere to established protocols for infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality.
  • Participate in holiday and every-other-weekend rotations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with critical care experience in an ICU setting.
  • Ability to adapt to floating between different inpatient units.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort during night shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
