ICU RN - Pleasant View, TN

An opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care support in an engaging hospital environment. This contract position involves working night shifts, delivering care to patients with complex needs in a 21-bed ICU unit. Ideal candidates are skilled in managing ventilators, vasoactive drips, tracheostomies, and comprehensive critical patient assessments.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or multistate compact license
• Minimum of one year ICU experience including care for neuro, stroke, STEMI, and other critical conditions
• Proficiency in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and critical care procedures
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Comfortable working with Cerner EMR and wearing scrubs (navy)
• Able to float to Medical-Surgical, Step-Down, and Emergency Departments
• Patient ratio typically 2:1 in a 21-bed ICU environment

Work Schedule:

• Nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Block scheduling with no guaranteed hours and a maximum of one week of released time off (RTO)
• On-call as needed when staffing is low
• No holiday RTO

This role requires flexibility and dedication to maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility and provide thorough submission details including home address and necessary documentation.
