A nursing opportunity is available for a registered nurse with intensive care unit (ICU) experience in Silver City, NM. This contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment providing care to a diverse ICU patient population.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico RN license or multi-state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Broad ICU knowledge, including exposure to Obstetrics (OB), Cardiac ICU (CICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Medical ICU (MICU), or Pediatric ICU (PICU) patient care
Schedule:
- Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Responsibilities include managing critical care patients across various ICU specialties, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and responding effectively to rapid changes in patient conditions.
