Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
  • Manage step-down medical patients efficiently, adapting to changing care requirements
  • Provide specialized care for stroke patients; NIH certification is required
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members including CNAs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain precise and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical standards

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification and comfort working with neuro patients
  • Ability to manage multiple patients effectively under varied acuity levels
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work within a combined ICU/MS2 stroke unit
