Critical Care Registered Nurse | Utica, Mississippi

An opportunity is available for a skilled registered nurse with expertise in intensive care to provide exceptional care in a 13-week contract assignment. This position supports critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment during night shifts, working from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients following established protocols and physician orders
• Monitor patient status closely, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Utilize advanced cardiac life support techniques as necessary in emergencies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in an ICU setting working with critical care patients
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends effectively
• Resides more than 50 miles from the facility location
