A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in ICU settings, located in Warwick, Rhode Island. Qualifications & Experience
- Current Rhode Island RN license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Proven experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as an RN
Shift & Schedule Details
- 36 to 48-hour night shifts
- Travelers assigned a home unit but may be floated up to three times per shift, with staffing assessments every 4 hours
- Union contract requires travelers to float first
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing in the ICU, delivering high-quality patient-centered care
- Monitor patients’ medical status and respond to emergencies with clinical precision
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adapt quickly to floating assignments and varying patient acuity levels within the unit
