Critical Care Registered Nurse - Whitehouse, Texas

A critical care nursing opportunity is available in Whitehouse, TX, perfect for those with ICU experience looking to apply their skills in a Level I Trauma setting. This contract position focuses on providing high-quality care in a Trauma ICU environment dedicated to patients with severe and complex conditions.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years in ICU nursing
• Level I Trauma center experience required
• Proven proficiency with Epic electronic charting system
• Current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2
• Flexibility to float between ICU, Intermediate Care (IMC), and Telemetry units as needed

Schedule and Contract Details:

• Day shift, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Contract role suitable for nurses with travel experience; relocation flexibility is beneficial
