A leading healthcare facility in Albany, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or Vascular Lab to provide expert patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting. Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Registered Nurse licensure with current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology/Vascular Lab experience; candidates with 1 prior travel contract or 4 years without travel experience preferred
• Comfortable providing pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care including sedation and monitoring
• Experience with critical care environments such as cardiac, ICU, or ER beneficial
• Ability to manage complex cases including lifeports, PICCs, catheters, declots, fistulograms, balloons, stents, and vein mappings
• Strong clinical judgment for handling acutely ill patients and cardiac emergencies

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures and provide continuous monitoring during procedures
• Manage sedation and ensure post-procedure recovery and care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including tech staff who assist with supplies, room prep, and charge entry
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR systems
• Provide charge nurse leadership when assigned

Schedule / Hours

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call duties

Additional Details

• Facility operates 3 procedure rooms primarily serving outpatient cases (8-12 daily)
• 3-week floor-specific orientation provided
• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies
